Bentley Systems announced it intentions to acquire InfraSoft, a provider of AEC software solutions in the UK.Designed to enhance its Civil Engineering software and services, Bentley's acquisition should strengthen its position in the civil marketplace and among investors during this period prior to its initial public offering.Directions will continue to follow this story when more information is availalbe.
Bentley also announced it has completed the acquisition of the Department of Transportation Division of TransDecisions, Inc., including the Linear Referencing System Extensions (LRSx™) software.The associated TransDecisions employees have also joined Bentley in conjunction with this acquisition.
