DigitalGlobe Releases Quickbird Imagery of Area Affected by North Korean Train Explosion

Longmont, CO -- DigitalGlobe is making available QuickBird imagery of the Ryongchon, North Korea general area where 200 people were reportedly killed and at least 2000 injured on April 22, 2004 when two fuel trains collided and exploded at a station near the Chinese border.
Below are before and after images of the affected area.

A 2.4-meter resolution color image was collected by DigitalGlobe's QuickBird satellite on April 27, 2004.See below:
