Autodesk shared these screen shots of "MapServer Enterprise" and "Autodesk MapServer Studio." Since Autodesk University, the company has decided to change the name of "MapServer Enterprise" based on feedback from the open source community.The term "MapServer Enterprise" is used in quotes to highlight that expected change.More information on the product is available in an FAQ."MapServer Enterprise" is downloadable as is a preview of "Autodesk MapServer Studio."

"Autodesk MapServer Studio" includes tools edit, preview and define parameters for maps to be publised via "MapServer Enterprise." It's built on the same code as Map3d.(Click for larger image)

"MapServer Enterpise's" AJAX client requires no download and acts like Google Maps.Note the giant blue exclamation point (for changing scale and navigation) and the beefy buffering tool.Unlike MapGuide all processing in done serverside.(Click for larger image)

Enhanced labeling is part of "MapServer Enterprise" and "may" show up in Map3D as well.(Click for larger image)

"Autodesk MapServer Studio" includes an interface to determine which standard and custom tools appear in the client application be it AJAX or DWF based.The lower panel is for custom commands and might include PHP calls.(Click for larger image)
