Casey McGeever, Chief Commercial Officer for AccuWeather Enterprise Solutions, translates weather impact into actionable insight to drive improved organizational performance – higher revenues and/or lower costs with reduced risk.

Casey’s client–centric leadership of the AccuWeather Enterprise Solutions team provides business, government, media, and institutions worldwide with the information edge to save lives, protect property, and improve profitability through more informed, timely, and superior decision-making.

McGeever started his career in Applications Engineering and Technical Sales where he was involved in numerous new product launches in widely-varied industrial markets. As Director of Innovation for Liquid Air in 1984, he was responsible for commercializing research and monetizing technical partnerships. He also licensed technologies in and out of companies, from US and foreign universities and international technical institutes.

An entrepreneur in every sense of the word, Casey has been the founder of four start-ups over the course of his career, including his own strategy consulting firm, specializing in catalyzing high growth for stalled businesses within larger organizations, and for assessing technology start-ups for investors.

In addition, Casey ran a large engineering and construction business for Kaiser Engineers, and has served as an executive in several established companies where he has used new technologies to implement business turn-arounds in global markets.

Casey served an executive roles for several technology startups and has personally prepared dozens of patent disclosures as the primary inventor, within multiple firms. Most recently, he consulted on power generation and developed several new consulting platforms.

Casey lives in the Greater Chicago area with his wife and two children. He graduated from the University of Southern California with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering. He went on to earn his M.S. in Chemical Engineering from UC Davis and an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
