Dan Parr is the President of URISA for 2005.

Dan Parr has spent 20 years as a consultant and project manager for the planning, design, and management of geographic information systems. He founded Daniel Parr Associates, Inc. in 1986 to provide high quality, individualized, cost-effective GIS management consulting services to the public sector. His work has included needs assessments, strategic planning, database and application designs, implementation oversight, and information technology training. He has worked with more than 15 counties and municipalities, ten US government agencies, and national governments.
