David H. Williams

David H. Williams is the editor and associate publisher of LBS360.NET Magazine, one of several publications of Directions Media. He is also the CEO of E911-LBS Consulting, a consultancy focused on helping businesses and government entities harness the power of wireless location in areas such as RFID, E911, and Location-Based Services. He is the author of several reports on wireless location, including The Definitive Guide to Wireless E911. His next report: The Definitive Guide to GPS and Other Wireless Location-Based Services is being released November 10th.

Mr. Williams is an internationally known expert in the wireless location field. With over 17 years of consulting experience, he has provided industry-leading business and technology strategic and tactical consulting services to some of the leading enterprises in the U.S., South America, and Europe. Prior to founding E911-LBS Consulting, Mr. Williams was an Associate Partner with Accenture's Communications and High-Technology strategic services practice. He has also worked for consultancies Booz, Allen, & Hamilton and Deloitte Consulting. He started his career as an electrical engineer for Hughes Aircraft Radar Systems Group.

Mr. Williams has an MBA in Information Systems Management from The University of Texas at Austin, and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University. He lives in Connecticut with his wife and four children.
