Dejan Gregor is an independent Consultant and GISc Researcher. His background is in Telecommunication and GIS. He has initiated several conservation projects and has been managing the Society for Conservation GIS Slovenia. Gregor has been working in private GIS companies in the South-Eastern Europe, in the UK at Telcordia Technologies Inc. (now part of Ericsson) and currently holds a position at Shell. He has been involved in facility and utility management projects involving complex network management and service provisioning. In the He focuses on: spatial and non-spatial decision making systems, prototyping of spatially enabled equipment interacting with the existing infrastructure, spatial-temporal design & planning of networks with the involvement of spatial decision making solutions, development of interfaces to seamlessly bridge the engineering and spatial needs inside a GIS (spatial conceptualization).
