Ela Dramowicz

Dr. Ela Dramowicz is a member of the GIS for Business faculty at the Centre of Geographic Sciences (
http://www.cogs.ns.ca), Nova Scotia Community College. Prior to teaching at the College, she had a position teaching GIS related courses at Saint Marys University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and also worked as a private consultant specializing in customized GIS training courses. Elas experience also includes 14 years as a professor in the Department of Geography at Warsaw University, Poland. Her education includes a Masters in Geography from Warsaw University, Poland, in 1970; a PhD in Geography from the Institute of Geography and Spatial Organization, Polish Academy of Sciences, Warsaw, Poland, in 1981; a Graduate Certificate in GIS, in 1993, and an Integrated Studies Diploma in GIS / Remote Sensing from the College of Geographic Sciences, Lawrencetown, Nova Scotia, in 1994.
