Gareth Bathers is the European Delivery Manager, Geospatial, for Cyient. He has been with the company since 2007 following periods with IBM and Transport for London. During his time with Cyient, Gareth has managed large geospatial projects for Ordnance Survey Great Britain, Network Rail, General Electric and others. Working with Cyient’s large offshore team of GIS professionals, he is experienced in the art of ‘industrialising process’ by taking low level ideas and concepts and turning them into large operations that deliver thousands of miles of updated geospatial data each week. A graduate of King’s College London with a degree in Geography (2003), he has always had a keen interest in GIS and related technologies.
