Jen Osha is a PhD candidate in Geography at West Virginia University. She is studying the application of participatory GIS in solving local natural resource management issues in the coalfields of southern West Virginia as well as the Ecuadorian Amazon.

Daniel Weiner is Professor of Geography and Director of International Programs at West Virginia University. Dr. Weiner has been working GIS and Society and PGIS projects for 15 years.
