Konrad Dramowicz

Dr. Konrad Dramowicz obtained his PhD in geography in 1973 and the GIS diploma in 1989. He is the author of more than 70 publications (including books) and frequent presenter of papers and workshops at national and international conferences. His professional interest includes GIS, spatial analysis, economic and human geography, philosophy and methodology of science. Recently, Dr. Dramowicz has focused on integrating two emerging and powerful computer technologies: GIS and data mining. His particular interests include applying these technologies in a spatial context. He is the faculty at the Centre of Geographic Sciences in Lawrencetown, Nova Scotia teaching such courses as Statistical Analysis, Data Mining, Advanced Location Analysis, Spatial Analysis and Geostatistics, Programming in VB, VBA and ArcObjects.
