Marilyn Otto is vice president, data development, for MapInfo Corporation, responsible for MapInfo data strategy worldwide and data production of the MapInfo Americas’ data products.
Marilyn has been working with geographic and statistical data for over 20 years and joined MapInfo over 17 years ago as one of its first employees and has held a number of management positions within the company. Prior to working for MapInfo, she was with Claritas for four years as the director of product development. Marilyn was also a drafting member and trustee for the GeoData Alliance.
She holds a Master’s degree in Library Science from SUNY Albany and a BA cum laude from SUNY Oswego. In addition to a number of non-profit activities, Marilyn is a soccer player in her spare time.
