Mark Denil

Mark Denil works at the National Ice Center. He has been a cartographer and GIS analyst for almost 20 years, after careers as both an artist and a wooden shipwright. A graduate of the College of Geographic Sciences (COGS) in Nova Scotia, he also holds an MFA from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design (NSCAD). He is a member of NACIS, the theoretical cartography commission of the ICA, and is user lead of the Esri Cartography Special Interest Group (CartoSIG).
