Matthew is a PhD student in the Graduate Degree Program in Ecology at Colorado State University and a USDA Agricultural Biosecurity and Center for Collaborative Conservation Fellow. Working with advisors Michele Betsill (Political Science) and Paul Evangelista (Natural Resource Ecology Laboratory), his dissertation integrates traditional ecological knowledge into mapping ecosystem services and modeling their vulnerability to invasive species and climate change.
