Mr. Mridul Kumar works with Kampsax India (P) Ltd. as a Senior Manager in the Domestic Mapping Division. He joined Kampsax as a Manager in July 2000. From 2000 to the present, he has held numerous positions at Kampasx. These have included Incharge Sales & Marketing for Photogrammetry software and Production Manager in the Photogrammetry Division. Presently, he works closely with his Divisional Head, MD & CFO to handle company initiatives / issues that lead to success and to staff excellence in achieving the company’s mission. He has good hands-on experience working on stereoplotters and digital work stations. Kampsax India (P) Ltd.is a member of COWI A/S Denmark.
Prior to joining Kampsax, Kumar worked with Rolta India Limited as an Executive, Technical Marketing & Customer Support. Before that he also worked for NRIC and IRRI, etc. He received his B.Sc. & M.Sc. (Master of Science Degree in Geology) from the University of Lucknow, India. He also did Post Diploma in Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing Applications with specialization in Geology, Geomorphology & Hydrology, using remote sensing technology at the Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS), Dehradun.(Govt. of India, Dept. of Space) from 1st March 1993 to31st dec.1993. IIRS is affiliated with ITC Netherland. Also, he has undergone one month training in Glaciology at Chuarabari Glacier at higher Himalayas.
Kumar is the author of two scientific articles / publications and is life member of the Indian Society of Remote Sensing (ISRS), Dehradun. He has also served as the President of the Lions Club Lucknow-Sahyog.
