Richard A. Marston

Dr. Richard A. Marston is Sun Chair Professor of Geology and Adjunct Professor of Geography at Oklahoma State University. Since 1999, Richard has also served as Co-Editor-in-Chief of the international Elsevier journal, Geomorphology. Dr. Marston has received awards and honors in recognition of his research; published widely in books and journals; garnered 39 research grants; taught over 3500 students; and supervised 37 graduate students. Richard has presented over 290 professional talks, the majority of which were invited. He is currently Vice President of the Association of American Geographers and has been elected as a Fellow in the Geological Society of America, Royal Geographical Society (U.K.), and the Explorers Club. In 2003, Richard received the Ronald F. Abler Distinguished Service Honors from the Association of American Geographers.
