Managing Director Shajy Mathai manages the Research and Technical Services team of Instrat®, Guy Carpenter & Company, LLC's risk and financial modeling services group. Shajy is also the architect of i-aXs, Guy Carpenter's online risk management platform.
Previously, Shajy served as head of the Instrat unit’s Global Catastrophe Initiative and was responsible for the group's portfolio management practice. He joined Guy Carpenter in 1996 in the Instrat unit's catastrophe modeling group.
Shajy holds Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Aerospace Engineering from Polytechnic University.
