Mapping Analytics is seeking a detail-oriented individual who possesses the right combination of skills and personality to enhance our Software Development Team.
This position in our Ithaca, NY office will focus on Desktop, Internet and Enterprise software solutions for a wide variety of clients and industries. Additional duties will include quality assurance testing, technical support, and technical documentation.
Experience with .NET is a must and additional experience with ArcObjects, ArcIMS or other ESRI technologies is a big plus.
The successful applicant will be responsible for:
Assisting in the research and planning phases of new projects.
Assuming primary responsibility for software development in smaller projects.
Assisting in software development for larger projects.
Interfacing with client's technical staff for deployment and on-going support of completed projects.
Job Requirements
Candidates should possess the following qualifications:
Familiarity with the .NET framework and C#.
Ability to work independently and in small groups.
Good communication skills.
The following qualifications are not required but would be helpful:
Experience with ArcObjects, ArcIMS, or other ESRI technologies.
Familiarity with Web Services and other web-based technologies.
Knowledge of relational databases.
