We are in search of a motivated Systems Engineer to join our Integration and Consulting Services Team. Your job will be to serve as a technical representative of LizardTech on many levels, including product presentations, consulting, participation at industry events, troubleshooting and customer support.
You will work with customers to select the right technology and services to implement GeoExpress, LizardTech’s core product, a powerful software package for managing and accessing complex geospatial imagery. Learn to deploy solutions with Express Server, our robust software package for distributing high-resolution imagery via the Internet to any device without sacrificing quality or resolution. Use your computer skills to help our Sales team connect with our customers.
Duties
At LizardTech, as a Systems Engineer, you will:
o Work with major players in the geospatial imaging industry.
o Consult (pre and post-sales) with LizardTech customers.
o Train end-users and system administrators.
o Conduct on-line seminars and demonstrations.
o Create whitepapers on LizardTech products, GIS and related topics.
o Present and participate at industry events.
o Travel to U.S. cities (approximately 25%)
o Share knowledge with a team of peers and partner companies.
o Be a part of a growing industry.
This position is full-time position and includes full benefits. You will earn a regular salary, in addition to compensation based on company sales and other incentives. Applicant must reside in the Seattle area.

The ideal candidate for this position should have 3-5 years experience in these areas:
o Microsoft Windows: Expert desktop and server skills
o Presentation: Our candidate must be well-spoken and have good presentation skills.
o UNIX Servers: Experience with Solaris, Linux, etc. is highly desirable
o Web Technology: Experience with web servers and web development
o Networking: Experience with TCP/IP and network troubleshooting
o Geospatial Applications: Experience with GIS applications by LizardTech, ESRI, Autodesk, or Leica a plus
Optional Areas of Expertise or Interest
While not all of these are required, optional areas of expertise, include the following:
• Geospatial Workflows: Familiarity with common geospatial workflows, including capture, orthorectification, image analysis, and image delivery
• Troubleshooting and Analytical Skills: The ideal candidate will possess a strong ability to quickly assess the technical nature of problems and has the desire to drive the resolution.
• Scripting: Interest or experience with JavaScript or VBScript
• Language Skills: Bilingual with English/Spanish
