Job Description

Blue Marble Geographics, a leading provider of data conversion software is hiring. Blue Marble, known for their coordinate conversion technology, is also the creator of industry leading map display, image reprojection, georeferencing, GPS tracking, and Internet mapping technology. Their technology is used worldwide by thousands of GIS analysts at software companies, universities, oil and gas companies, civil engineering, surveying, technology, enterprise GIS groups, and military organizations.

Experienced Senior Software Sales Account Manager wanted for Blue Marble Geographics. We a growing mapping software company looking to expand our reach and offering. We have a great product line that is easy to get behind. This candidate must have experience managing strategic account sales, penetrating one or more of the following verticals: software, oil and gas, utilities, government, military, education, or engineering and handling a software solutions sale. The ability to work independently is key. You will be expected to develop a significant book of business and expand the company's presence in major, fortune 500 type companys. Potential for growth is great.

Job Requirements

Candidate must have good communications skills, be a genuine people person, must have business-to-business strategic account management experience, and software and/or GIS sales experience. This is a technical type sale, so experience selling technical products is required. Experience selling distribution and royalty agreements is also necessary. Candidate must be comfortable with a solutions level sale. Some travel will be required.

Education requirements:

High school diploma required, college degree preferred.
