We are seeking a qualified candidate to join our Digital Map and Chart Production team. This self-motivated individual will be the technical lead on the design, implementation and administration of a Geographic Information System using ArcGIS. The individual will work as part of a team to create digital nautical and aeronautical charts as well as utilize the GIS for publishing paper maps and charts.
The successful candidate must possess advanced knowledge and understanding of ESRI’s ArcGIS software. This position requires excellent attention to detail and the ability to work well individually and as part of a team to meet strict deadlines.
Job Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS, Computer Science or related field
• 3+ years of experience using ESRI’s ArcGIS software in a Windows Environment
• Strong working knowledge of geodatabase creation and manipulation
• Experience working with MS SQL Server
• Working knowledge of ArcSDE
• Experience utilizing GIS for publishing
Additional Desired Skills:
• Experience using ESRI’s Production Line Tool Set
• Working knowledge of ArcIMS
• Experience working with the IHO S-57 format
