Job Description:
You will join Tactician Corporation as a member of our Customer Services Team. You will be responsible for complete follow-through on internal and customer oriented system configuration, database, and reporting projects: project planning, customer contact, status updates, data manipulation, process development and documentation, quality assurance testing, implementation, and possibly training.
Your projects will be GIS and database oriented, with processing and scripting of the data manipulation process often required to support the creation of custom client solutions. Customer assistance responsibilities will involve telephone support and backup email/support line coverage.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Ability to communicate clearly & effectively with customers, associates and managers
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential
- Self motivated, balanced with a strong sense of teamwork
- Project planning & implementation experience
- High attention to detail
- Effective at handling multiple customer and internal projects simultaneously while meeting project goals
- BS/BA degree in Business/Computer/GIS related or equivalent training & experience
- 1-3 years Customer Service oriented roles
- 2-5 years Microsoft SQL Server database administration, intermediate level
- Must understand Structured Query Language, including joins, grouping, and expressions
- 2-5 years VB/VBA/VBS programming with OLEDB, ADO experience preferred
- Microsoft Reporting Services and/or Crystal Reports experience preferred
- HTML and ASP scripting experience desirable
- Training and/or Technical Writing skills desirable
- Geographic Information Systems experience a plus
- Tactician software user experience a plus
