We are a small team and need someone who is a self starter and can handle multiple projects. While most client applications are developed in the .NET environment, a solid Java programmer would be a welcome addition to our team.
The GIS Web Application Developer is responsible for:
• Define application requirements and oversee and develop custom web GIS applications (including design, programming, documentation, development & testing).
• Connect to and manipulate relational databases.
• Training and technology transfer.
• Client and project management.
• Internal and external communication.

Job Requirements
Required Qualifications:
• Four-year college degree in Computer Science, or a related field or equivalent experience
• 2 years experience developing web applications in .NET and/or Java.
• Experience with relational database management systems, operations, and applications (Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL).
• Excellent working knowledge of Object Oriented Programming.
• Knowledge of web programming including any of the following: ASP, ASP.NET, JAVA, JavaScript, HTML, XML, XSLT.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with any of the freely available mapping API’s (Google, Yahoo, Microsoft)
• Knowledge of current GIS hardware/software (ESRI, Autodesk) technologies and uses
