Intermap Technologies, Inc., is looking for a Customer Program Manager to work closely with the sales team as a technical consultant of for the companys technologies. Successful candidates will have experience in providing support to sales in the computer graphics/visualization, geospatial or automotive industries in the company-wide effort to increase sales and profit margins at the key account level through actions such as joint sales calls and providing detailed customer information including introductions to purchasing decision-makers. They must be able to work cross-functionally with product teams, sales, services, partners, senior management, PR and media agencies, consultants and vendors to build programs and promote marketing activities internally. There are two open positions. One based in Munich, Germany and the other is based in Calgary, AB. International travel is anticipated for these positions.
Key Responsibilities:
Solves client problems by working closely with other members of the sales team and colleagues from a range of departments such as: research; design; development; production; distribution; quality assurance; as well as senior company managers;
Assists in the design, implementation of customized solutions for clients.
Answers technical questions and conducts demonstrations of product expressions and new features to prospects and to various groups within existing customer accounts.
Provides product implementation problem resolution and support. Also, provides full technical training of companys product expressions.
Travels to visit customers, builds rapport to cement the relationship between client and company and to address ongoing service needs.
Maintains and uses up-to-date knowledge of product lines, company sales philosophy and policy, company processes and industry conditions to provide innovative support and technical assistance to key account customer and company sales staff.
May lead and oversee projects involving research, design, development and manufacturing areas.
Provides technical descriptions and content for proposals in response to RFPs & RFQs.
Takes part in trade shows, conferencing and marketing events
Prepares reports for head office.
Job Requirements
Requirements:
Relevant advanced degree.
Strong technical background with a minimum of four years proven experience as a technologist
Experience with computer graphics/visualization, geospatial or automotive industries
Demonstrated ability to work in cross-functional teams to grow sales volume and profit margins
Strong learning and communication capabilities
Completely customer focused with the ability to demonstrate your advocacy for Intermap's customers and partners
