The GIS Developer position will assist with implementing and enhancing industry leading GIS software packages for both Apex and our customers. The successful candidate will have a proven ability to analyze, design and implement large software development and enhancement projects. Experience working with ESRI, Intergraph, Bentley, Smallworld, or Telecordia systems is required, but candidates with a strong development background are encouraged to apply. Successful candidates will have the ability to interact effectively with others and work as a team member. Specific job tasks include the working to:
Design and develop custom applications, tools and code samples for customers
Design and develop relational database management systems
Assist with documentation and technical training for customers and partners
Assist with technical support to customers
Assist with technical support for sales-related activities
Job Requirements
Experience Required:
5+ years of working with Visual Basic, VB.NET, C# in the Windows and Web environment, Preferred knowledge of XML, AXL, ArcObjects, HTML, Oracle, SQL, MDL, Microsoft Visual Studio, ESRI ArcIMS, ESRI ArcSDE, ESRI ArcGIS Server and Microsoft IIS
Experience with telecommunications, electric or gas utilities, GIS, informational databases or related technology.
Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word are required.
Education: Bachelor's Degree, Masters Degree or equivalent experience required.

The successful candidate must be approved to work in the U.S. and will have excellent organizational, interpersonal and documentation skills. The candidate must have the ability to prioritize task, and complete project and work activities on time.
