DESCRIPTION:
First American is seeking 3 Sales Directors to pursue new opportunities within the navigation, wireless and mapping segments in order to expand business. Incumbent will prospect and close new business, grow existing business, manage the overall relationship of assigned accounts and ensure extreme customer satisfaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Sell solutions to new or existing customers to achieve or exceed revenue goals
- Contact and visit prospective customers to determine solution requirements and provide sales presentations
- Execute a defined sales process model
- Record all leads and sales activity in the company's contact management system and preparing sales forecasts
- Understand FAFDS' solutions and clearly articulate the solution benefits to prospective customers
- Identify new business opportunities and retain existing relationships by working with company management, business development strategists, marketing and technical support personnel to prioritize those opportunities and integrate them into the account plan
- Build and maintain customer relationships at all levels (through and including President/CEO), utilizing FAFDS resources (subject matter experts and division account managers) to ensure FAFDS has high visibility with the account
- Compensation: Salary + commission

Job Requirements

- Experience with Location Intelligence, geo-spatial tools and processes preferred
- Proven track record of sales success and consistently meeting and exceeding sales goals
- Strong ability to develop a professional rapport with stakeholders and 'C' level decision makers, overcome objections and persuade while maintaining a dynamic and professional demeanor and presence over the phone and in person
- Experience in wireless, navigation and mapping technologies preferred
- Ability to build effective relationships and ensure cooperation and coordination across First American product companies and First American clients
- Ability to effectively sell ideas/concepts

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Graduate level education in the business arena or equivalent directly related experience
- Minimum 7 years outside sales experience

BEHVAIORAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Excellent judgment, listening skills, organizational skills and verbal and written communication skills
- Charismatic/executive demeanor
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Sound decision making and problem solving skills ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Able to travel up to 50% of work week
- Time flexibility must include early morning to late evening schedules to accommodate client needs and/or functions
