Job Summary:
Orbit Logic is seeking a talented systems engineer to provide support for new and ongoing contracts and software products, primarily for aerospace scheduling applications.
Job Details:
Candidates must be able to perform full life cycle activities including requirements definition, system design, interface definition, testing, training, and maintenance support. Candidates will be expected to participate in design reviews, documentation reviews (design, users manuals, maintenance manuals), demos and discussions with potential customers, and other team coordination meetings. The position also involves support for marketing and business development activities. Self motivation and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are required. Will interact internally with Project Managers, Software Engineers, IT development, Systems Engineers, and Business Development. Will interact externally with customer technical representatives and program managers.
Job Requirements
Candidate Requirements:
A college degree in a related field such as engineering, computer science, or physics is required. Minimum 5 years of systems engineering experience related to satellite ground systems in a company is required for this position.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs)
- Required: US Citizen, systems engineering related to satellite ground systems, technical documentation, effective communication skills
- Desired: STK, satellite operations experience
