Software Development Engineer (Orbit Logic)

Job Summary:
Orbit Logic is seeking a talented software development engineer to provide support for ongoing software development contracts, enhance existing software tools, and develop new software products, primarily for aerospace scheduling applications

Job Details:
Candidates must be able to perform full software life cycle activities including requirements analysis and design (25%), coding (50%), and unit testing (25%). Self motivation and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are required. Candidates will be expected to participate in design reviews, code reviews, and other team coordination meetings. Will interact internally with the VP of Software Development, Jr. and Sr. Engineers and Systems Engineers

Candidate Requirements:
A college degree in a related field such as computer science, engineering, or physics is required. Minimum 2-5 years of software development experience in a company is required for this position.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs)
- Required: US Citizen C# ,OO, UML, TCP/IP, COM, Windows 32 programming, Technical documentation, effective communication skills.
- Desired: SQL , Visual Studio .Net, VB, ADO.net , C++, ASP, Windows 32, API, Web programming, Project lifecycle, XML, Access, Relational Database Design, STK, understanding of satellite operations, systems engineering, java, GUI design.
