Purpose
To undertake projects and activities to help develop a fast growing, entrepreneurial, web technology company. The role will be a core contributor to the development of the organisation, client projects and future product development.
Earthware develop interactive mapping solutions and services, usually through a web interface, particularly with the property and travel markets. Earthware uses maps and technology to bring products and services to life.
Accountabilities
• Bespoke web development for client and Earthware websites
• Client and project management
• Creating innovative new products and solutions using maps and technology
• Building and maintaining databases of information to support interactive property maps

Person Specification
The successful applicant should satisfy the following requirements.
Knowledge and Skills (ideal):
• ASP.net experience
• vb.net or c# (c# preferred)
• MS SQL 2000/2005 experience
• html / css / javascript
Attitude:
Alongside technical capacity, enthusiasm and self-discipline are valuable traits for this role. Earthware is a small, but fast growing, entrepreneurial organisation with a unique culture built around integrity, enthusiasm, initiative, playing as a team and having fun.
Experience:
Experience of working in a team environment, preferably working within a development environment is essential. Numeracy and confidence in using ICT tools for office applications is essential. Administration experience is expected. Experience of web development in an SME context.
Personal Specification:
Successful applicants must have good inter-personal skills, as a good working relationship with the team is essential. The ability to work calmly under pressure of deadlines is essential, as is the ability to prioritise and manage parallel tasks. Also essential are good telephone, writing and communication skills.
