Optimal Geomatics, a provider of geomatic services and software to the powerline and pipeline utility sector is looking for technical sales personnel to provide industry-specific sales support for its products within the United States. Candidates must be able to manage all phases of complex sales situations from qualification to end-user acceptance of the proposed solution or deliverables. Responsibilities include prospecting, preparing and performing detailed product demonstrations, on-site presentations, solving technical or business problems, drafting proposal and maintaining existing client relationships. Candidates will be expected to attend trade shows and conferences relevant to Optimal’s target industries.
Candidates must have a proven ability to generate leads, negotiate terms, and close sales. A background in engineering, surveying, remote sensing, photogrammetry or GIS and knowledge of utility or other infrastructure business is essential.
Business travel is an essential component of the sales process.
