Job Description

Use your passion for assisting governments worldwide advance their operations through the use of GIS to create the global business strategy for the cadastral, land records, and property tax assessment market.

Responsibilities
• Execute marketing messages to the assessor/appraiser and land ownership administrators marketplace through direct marketing, events, advertising, marketing material development, and sales and marketing campaigns
• Research, analyze, and monitor technological, financial, and market factors to capitalize on market opportunities and minimize effects of competitive activity
• Develop and execute comprehensive industry marketing plans and programs, both short and long range, to support sales and revenue objectives of the government market segment
• Serve as liaison with other company departments and groups as industry focal point
• Expand the use of GIS technology into new related business areas as opportunities become present
• Work to recruit, develop, and advance the business partner community
• Act as an advocate of GIS technology through trade associations and media outlets
• Work with product development as an advocate for the cadastral and land records marketplace

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, geography, GIS, or relevant field
• Seven or more years of experience in a cadastral or land records discipline with an emphasis on parcel data collection and maintenance, data and applications integration, property valuation, and assessment modeling
• Familiarity with the issues, policies, and processes associated with the administration of cadastral land records
• Significant proven industry experience, reputation, and knowledge
• Excellent interpersonal, writing, presentation, and leadership skills
• Be a team player
• Demonstrate a cooperative, professional demeanor

Recommended Qualifications
• Knowledge of government practices as they relate to regulations, accounting, budgeting, and information systems
• Experience working for or with cadastral and assessor/appraiser organizations within federal, state, regional, or local governments
• Domain knowledge of GIS technology as it applies to the cadastral land records and related data and applications for the administration of legal ownership and property tax assessment marketplace
• Familiarity with ESRI software
