Utilize your familiarity with GIS and technical expertise to design, develop, and test ESRIs ArcMap application. This is an exciting opportunity to participate in all phases of software product development and release.
Responsibilities
Work with programmers and other product engineers to produce a compelling mapping system for ArcGIS
Author user documentation and write Knowledge Base style articles
Ensure quality of software for all aspects of the GIS user and GIS developer experience by testing software functions, user interface, GIS workflows, and programmer interfaces and functions
Perform key testing functions including author and implement test plans and test cases, write test code, verify code changes and bug fixes, perform stress tests, perform detailed analysis of automated test results, and proactively give clear feedback on status of product areas
Job Requirements
Familiarity with GIS and/or ESRI software
Bachelors degree in GIS, computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field
One to five years of experience in testing
Strong Windows background
Expertise in the one or more of the following: C#, VB.NET, ASP .NET, VB
Ability to produce excellent C# or VB code
Passion for quality and an attention to detail
Recommended Qualifications
Familiarity with at least one of the following: computer graphics, commercial RDBMS, cartography, data analysis, or user interface development
Familiarity with Internet Map Serving software and Internet protocols
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work with a team in a constantly challenging environment
