SRC, LLC, a leader in geographic business intelligence solutions is growing and looking to expand its technical marketing team with a technologically adept and motivated team player. We have an exciting opportunity for a detail oriented, full-cycle communications manager to lead the planning and execution of our busy calendar of corporate marketing events, webinars, customer/partner communications program and industry trade shows that impact all customer facing teams within SRC. As SRC continues to grow, we need to deliver a consistent message to our existing and new customers and partners.
Our current schedule of events includes multiple customer/partner email communications, vertical webinars with partners on a quarterly basis, 10-15 trade shows per year plus our annual company event with clients, prospects and partners. This position is also responsible for the coordination of our customer and partner communications and result summary insight where available. The tradeshow events range from simple, one-person company representations, technology partner annual summits, to large-scale events with interactive display booths, product and service demonstrations and a full staff of up to 10 people. The webinar events will include leading the project for outbound attendee recruitment programs, coordination of content and presenter(s).
We are looking for a polished professional with proven project management skills and the ability to keep focused on the big picture yet never lose track of all the details. This person must also be able to manage the overall scope of a project and keep the timelines moving towards completion within strict budget constraints.
DUTIES & REQUIREMENTS:
- Absolutely must be able to work independently and set priorities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with professional phone presence.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with hard timelines.
- Responsible for full-cycle event production from pre-event planning to post-event analysis.
- Ability to intelligently represent SRC’s data driven business intelligence technologies to the public on a basic informational level.
- This position requires regular travel, at the company’s expense to supervise the logistics of event setup, accommodations, venue / vendor interaction, and teardown of scheduled events.
NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Three to five years experience in corporate or high-level event coordination in a high technology environment; preferably software.
- Two or more years using Webex or a like online meeting center product.
- Two or more years developing and implementing email communication programs.
- Ability to synthesize information and requirements and develop actionable goals and timelines
- Understanding of relational databases, business intelligence or ETL concepts preferred.
- Working knowledge of web site analytics and tracking tools like GoogleAd Words is a plus.
- Experience designing and managing budgets (estimated/actual) and keeping projects within set parameters and constraints.
- Extreme competence in coordinating the logistics, travel and set-up details for large events.
- Comfort with regular travel up to 40% with trips lasting between 1-4 days in length, interspersed throughout the year.
- Regular experience interfacing with marketing and executive teams, from both internal and external work teams and partner organizations.
- 4+ years of vendor management and relations, with rental, purchase order and event insurance experience.
- Take charge attitude with ability to make rational, responsible decisions on the fly to keep process in motion and goals in sight.
- Proficiency in MS Office products, including PowerPoint and professional administrative protocols.
