Utilize your experience in the defense, military, and/or intelligence domains and advanced knowledge of GIS or geospatial applications to promote and champion the use of GIS in the defense market worldwide. This is a significant opportunity to introduce and develop GIS awareness as an enterprisewide solution and to showcase ESRI technology as a critical asset in utilizing geospatial intelligence in decision making at all levels of command.
Responsibilities
Provide strategic direction and management of ESRIs marketing efforts to promote and grow the use of GIS in the defense and intelligence markets
Work closely with the sales staff and ESRI international distributors to provide guidance with the development of defense sales and marketing strategies and to facilitate connections back to defense resources at headquarters
Develop and maintain a business partner channel to ensure the delivery of solutions to the defense sector
Help ESRI design GIS solutions that meet the diverse needs of our defense/intel user community
Develop examples of best practices of using GIS in defense and intelligence
Represent ESRI at conferences, trade shows, and seminars domestically and internationally
Serve as a liaison to other departments as an industry expert
Job Requirements
A masters degree in a related field
Seven or more years of demonstrated leadership experience in the defense, intelligence, or military domain
Excellent leadership, written and verbal communication, and presentation skills
Significant breadth and understanding of GIS conceptual knowledge
Ability to build successful relationships in a collaborative environment
Ability and willingness to travel internationally
Experience with ESRI software recommended
