Tele Atlas (TA) continues to grow. For the past five years - ZyMac Inc. - has been retaned by them to conduct thier senior leadership searches. We are now seeking a Senior Software Engineer / Architect for their next generation entrprise application.
As the largest global provider of electronic data now being used for Internet navigation (i.e. Mapquest), Vehicle Navigation (i.e. On-Star) and personal navigation (i.e. TomTom) industries, Tele Atlas is now in a rapid growth to keep pace with market demands.
They need to add senior strength to their software engineering team for the development and deployment of their next generation (Java and C# based) enterprise application.
This position is based out of either their Lebanon, NH campus - it could also be based out of their Boston office. In either case - we would consider an option to work virtually for some part of the time.
Job Requirements
The main responsibilities for the role are:
•Provide perspective, workflow and ownership of product features for the next generation product(s) as a member of their senior global software engineering team.
•Leadership for the definition, design and deployment of an enterprise application.
•Working within well defined cycles which allow Tele Atlas to get their products to market ahead of their competition.
A qualified candidate must have:
•Expertise in complete full life cycle of software development (design, code, testing & debugging) that resulted in the delivery of high-quality, production ready
•5+ years of Java experience with expertise in Java 2 Standard Edition
•10+ years objected oriented programming experience.
•Oracle / RDBMS programming experience. (Oracle 10g experience is preferred.)
•Experience with XML, XSD & XSLT
•Experience with UML and UML tools, such as Enterprise Architect.
The following qualifications would be a plus:
•Agile, Scrum, XP, test-driven development & code refactoring
•Experience with Eclipse IDE, JUnit, and DbUnit, is preferred
Compensation/Benefits:
•Salary: $100,000 + base salary - depending upon experience could be higher
•Full benefit package
