Job Description

An individual with demonstrated leadership abilities and knowledge of Spatial Data Infrastructure (SDI) standards is needed to provide consulting and project management services in the SDI market. •Develop proposals and implementation plans including scope, budget, and schedule for multi-year SDI initiatives
•Design and implement standards as they apply to framework data models, metadata, content, accuracy, quality standards, data production systems, and portals
•Lead project teams and manage contract deliverables through the application of planning, tracking, change control, quality control, and risk management techniques
•Provide user requirements and technical feedback to ESRI’s software product development team

Job Requirements

•Bachelor's, master's, or Ph.D. in a relevant field, depending upon position level
•Knowledge of ongoing SDI standards and activities and a minimum of eight years of significant experience developing SDIs such as the United States NSDI and the European INSPIRE programs
•Knowledge of desktop and Web-based GIS technologies, enterprise software architectures, Open Geospatial Consortium specifications, and the ISO 19000-series standards
•Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage consulting teams, software development teams, and large scale projects
•Strong verbal and written communication skills including the ability to present to senior executives
•10 plus years of significant proven domain experience recommended

We offer exceptional benefits, competitive salaries, 401(k) and profit sharing programs, and much more.
