Job Description

Our client is a dynamic UK company who specialize in the development and provision of web and desktop GIS solutions, supplying both public and private sectors customers within the environmental and civil engineering industries.

Their energetic and friendly approach has created an easy-going and collaborative environment, in which initiative and individual skills development are encouraged and rewarded. All staff benefit from regular reviews as well as ongoing training opportunities.

Due to continuing growth, they are currently seeking an experienced sales person who can drive the future growth of the firm’s customer base. They are therefore looking for an individual who has an understanding of geotechnical/environmental engineering and can demonstrate the value of the company’s products in order to maximize sales growth and retention. There is a high level of scope within this role for personal development and company reward.

Job Requirements

Successful candidates will need:

- Experience in the geotechnical/environmental field (either from University or work)
- Experience in field sales and account management
- An ability to seek out new business leads and form close relationships with small, medium and large accounts.
- Have the ability to work closely with technical staff and customers to demonstrate products and their benefits
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Highly driven
- UK based and expected to travel to Redditch on an infrequent basis for meetings and updates.
