Job Description

Our client is a dynamic UK company (West Midlands), developing and supplying web and desktop GIS solutions for the Environmental and Civil Engineering industries to a diverse range of clients in both the public and private sectors. Our energetic and friendly approach has created an easy-going and collaborative environment, in which initiative and individual skills development are encouraged and rewarded. This role is aimed at junior software developers and has excellent long-term prospects with the opportunity for career advancement and personal development.

Job Requirements

The successful candidate will be a graduate who has some experience within industry. He or she will learn how to develop high quality applications in a professional team environment and will need the following:

• A degree - preferably computer related
• An understanding (or interest) of GIS based software products
• Working knowledge of C#
• An understanding of object orientated development
• Knowledge on how to develop interactive websites
• PHP experience preferable
• Some knowledge of CFML and ASP.NET web development languages would be preferable
• C++ or Java experience would also be fantastic.
