Use sound judgement and initiative to promote, market and sell ITTVis based products and services; and provide technical support services & training to clients. Role specifics include:
• Prepare presentations and demonstrations of ITTVis/GIS software.
• Develop and maintain relevant marketing materials.
• Market solutions and liaise with customers to illicit product/service/training needs. Travel will be required.
• Coordinate product seminars, events, and exhibitions.
• Prepare articles/advertisements and organize for publishing in various industry specific magazines, including company newsletter.
• Maintain customer relations management and prospects databases.
• Attend to technical support calls.
• Maintain technical support database.
• Develop and promote training schedules and enlist participants to courses s.
• Coordinate all logistics for conducting training – venue booking, setup, refreshments, manuals, certificates, feedback.
• Provide instruction in remote sensing/GIS products
• Prepare custom training courses as required.
• Prepare reports as required.
• Assist in other distributorship activities as directed.
Job Requirements
Selection criteria for the position are:
Essential
• Tertiary qualifications in engineering, science, remote sensing, GIS or equivalent.
• Experienced in remote sensing.
• Experience in a sales / technical support / instructor roles.
• Current training certification in remote sensing / GIS products
• Sound planning and organizing skills.
• Sound interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to analyse issues, solve problems and improve work practices.
Desirable
• Experience with MS Office and computer peripherals.
• Experience with the ESRI suite of software.
