PROJECT MANAGEMENT MUSTS:
- Complete self-starter able to manage own priorities and set and achieve marketing team goals under a sometimes-stressful environment.
- Must execute duties and coordinate tasks with a sense of urgency to meet corporate marketing plans, pre-determined product launch dates and an already scheduled calendar of events.
- Demonstrated experience doing the top to bottom, full-cycle planning and coordination of small and large-scale corporate events, trade shows and related user events, preferably in the area of customizable software solutions.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS MUSTS:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with professional phone/Webex presence.
- Demonstrated ability to confidently give presentations and interface with the clients, associates, and the public in both online and in-person settings.
- Ability to manage relationships with vendors, partners and coordinate work teams both remotely and on site at actual corporate events.
- Ability to professionally interface with cross-functional work teams, management and ‘C’ level executives.
MARKETING RELATED MUSTS:
- Demonstrated experience to define, build and execute marketing communications programs including webinars, trade shows, corporate communications programs including email, company conferences.
- Proficient use and understanding of some kind of specialized marketing or business intelligence software tool, (i.e, Cognos, MicroStrategies, Business Objects, OracleSpatial, Alteryx, Allocate or ArcBuinsess Suites or similar spatial data analysis too)
- Understanding of how a comprehensive marketing equation serves the critical functions of tradeshows, technical marketing communications, web strategy, inside/outside sales, leads and referrals programs, etc.
