Software Quality Assurance Technician
Job Description:

In the test environment, the QA Technician is responsible for the execution of all software testing prior to release. Specific tasks include:
• Participating in the creation and execution of comprehensive software test plans
• Summarizing and documenting all test results.
• Maintaining documentation for product releases.
• Making suggestions/contributions to the overall improvement of the existing software testing/quality process
• Managing the bug reporting/resolution process (including the reproduction of reported bugs)
• Working closely with other departments to ensure quality software is maintained
Requirements
• The ideal candidate will have a minimum 2 year technical degree or the equivalent in work experience
• Excellent time management and organizational skills; and the ability to perform under pressure
• Well developed oral and written communication skills , including attention to detail
• Well developed analytical and creative processing skills
