Job Description

I.M. Systems Group, Inc. (IMSG) (www.imsg.com) is looking to hire several Project Managers to work at the National Marine Fisheries Southwest Fisheries Science Centers. This position may be located in either Pacific Grove, CA or Santa Cruz, CA.

Job Duties:

• The Project Manager will responsible for supervision of all contractor employees and act as primary interface between government and contractor personnel.
• The project manager shall also be the contractor's primary administrative representative having full authority to act on matters pertaining to the performance of the services required under this contract in addition to reviewing and monitoring the contractor technical work for overall quality, efficiency, and timeliness.

Job Requirements

Experience Required:
• The Project Manager shall have experience in the scientific environment with emphasis on the scientific disciplines that will be required for each task order.
• The individual shall be responsible for all aspects of project performance (i.e, technical, contractual, administrative, and financial).
• The Project Manager will manage and supervise personnel involved in all aspects of project activity, organize and assigns responsibilities to subordinates and subcontractors, as well as provide liaison with Contracting Officer’s Technical Representative (COTR) to ensure the successful completion of all assigned tasks.
Education Requirements:
• Ph.D in one of the marine sciences is required
