Job Description

Support the use of ArcGIS 3D technology by being the primary product interface for working with our development staff, regional offices, international distributors, and business partners to provide pre- and post-sales support. You will be the 3D GIS evangelist within ESRI and the public face of our 3D technology and vision as well as help direct our internal 3D strategy.

Responsibilities
• Define the vision for 3D GIS within ESRI and help direct development in a coherent 3D strategy
• Respond to requests for support at critical customer sites
• Help minimize implementation issues by supporting internal projects and business partners using new releases and/or features
• Maintain information through technical white papers and PowerPoints on server use and solutions on the 3D product
• Support customer and business partner visits to Redlands
• Assist in competitive analysis
• Present and support the 3D product at trade shows, ESRI’s Business Partner Conference, and ESRI’s International User Conference

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's in computer science, GIS, or related field, depending upon position level
• Three to six years of experience in a product support, product planning, or consulting environment
• Design experience with architecting .NET or Java solutions for enterprise use
• Strong understanding of the 3D software landscape and GIS possibilities
• Ability to coordinate people and technical resources from multiple areas of the company
• Effective time management and organization skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills at the technical and senior executive level
