Position Summary
Reports to the Senior Director of Government Sales, responsible for achieving sales quota assigned to large Federal agencies. Assigned accounts include existing and competitive accounts. Requires senior level sales professional experience with proven ability to qualify, develop and manage government sales opportunities with a national scope.
Responsibilities
Meet or exceed assigned quota associated with management and development of sales opportunities within Federal Government
Develop and implement sales plans involving coordination of Autodesk solutions and services
Communicate customer issues to sales management for resolution
Facilitate development of strategic partnerships with major accounts through understanding of customer’s product development process/problems.
Manage and grow existing accounts in specified territory
Present Autodesk government solutions at customer sites and marketing events
Requirements
Requires 12+ years experience selling complex product and service solutions in Federal segment.
Proven track record of selling and presenting to senior executives of major Federal Agencies.
In-depth understanding of Federal segment
Ability to identify, manage, and close new business opportunities
Ability to develop relationships with customer’s senior management
Ability to lead an account team or work as a member of an account team consisting of Autodesk product sales, technical, consulting, and management personnel
Ability to travel 40% of working time or more
Strong understanding of complex sales strategies that focus on solutions which include both consulting services and products
Strong written and verbal communication
