Provides expert guidance on spectral products and exploitation techniques. Processes and exploits complex AGI data including spectral, thermal, and/or synthetic aperture radar (SAR) data. Applies basic-to-complex non-literal exploitation analysis techniques in the visible (VIS) through longwave infrared (LWIR) hyperspectral data. Reviews and authors Advanced Geospatial Intelligence Assessments, Advanced Geospatial Intelligence Reports, Annotated Graphical Products, and other reports/products as required. Assists in full implementation of spectral AGI capabilities including analysis and production, product timeliness and workflow, technology (equipment and software) acquisition, operations, research & development, product development, posting and dissemination, and product applications to the warfighter. Prepares and delivers technical papers and presentations for community-sponsored spectral Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) / AGI symposiums, meetings, working groups and collection exercises. Qualifications/Experience:
Required:

* 10+ years working in an operational production setting exploiting multi- and hyperspectral data in the GEOINT/AGI domain, including use of software-based exploitation tools such as ITT/Vis ENVI and ERDAS Imagine and applying atmospheric correction and spectral matching algorithms to data
* 6+ years past or current Intelligence Community (IC) experience with national Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), US Air Force National Air and Space Intelligence Center (USAF/NASIC), and/or U.S. Army Intelligence
* 2+ years training/experience in national requirements management
* Comprehensive understanding of the phenomenology associated with the VIS through LWIR spectral region and SAR data is required with an emphasis on recent experience exploiting midwave infrared (MWIR) and LWIR hyperspectral data
* Comprehensive understanding of National and Theater AGI spectral intelligence assets
* Comprehensive understanding of visible through LWIR airborne and space-based spectral collection platforms and collection methods
?* 2+ years experience writing IDL programming code toward developing applications that improve image-processing efficiency and algorithms for target detection and identification. IDL programming experience specific to hyperspectral exploitation software a plus

Master of Science (MS) in Computer Science, Remote Sensing, Geospatial Information Science (GIS), Cartography, or Earth Sciences, or similar MS degree with equivalent practical experience in spectral science. In special cases, commensurate experience shall be accepted in lieu of educational requirements.

Desired:

* PhD in Computer Science, Remote Sensing, GIS, Cartography, or Earth Sciences, or similar M.S. degree with equivalent practical experience in spectral science
* Graduate NGA/ Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) Measurement and Signatures Intelligence (MASINT) Certificate Program (MCP)
* Financial Resource Management
* Senior Leadership Courses
* AGI or related "primer" courses
* AGI or related processing courses
