Imagery/GIS Analyst – Performed imagery and geospatial analysis to exploit multi-sensor imagery and geospatial data as well as create tailored map products to furnish local decision makers. Responsible for deploying national geospatial systems (GIS) to forward locations in support of military and civilian operations.

•   Worked closely with customer to interpret GIS need and create an appropriate request for product.

•   Created a variety of custom imagery and geospatial map products using raster and vector data.

•   Employ a working knowledge of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency and NGA standard data types.

•   Test, analyze, validate and troubleshoot various GIS software, systems and data sets to ensure interoperability and effectiveness.

•   Developed standard operating procedures and trained co-workers to ensure consistent processes and products throughout the team resulting in a uniform product being delivered to the customer.

•   GIS products/processes include; image map, mosaic, line-of-sight, image-map bleed, view shed, topographic re-prints,  large and small scale products, 3D image products, fly-thru, as well as multi-layered products using elevation models, raster imagery and vector data. Quality control, dissemination, data manipulation, spatial queries, imagery analysis, data creation, orthorectification, orthoregistration.

Geospatial Data Library (GIL) Senior Operator – Implemented, operated, queried, maintained and distributed data from a forward deployed Geospatial Library to support operations in theater.

•   Significantly improved data distribution within theater; result was more timely information available for units to perform analysis and critical decision making.

•   Updated and maintained geospatial library web pages.

•   Provided training and customer assistance on use of GIL as well as national products and services.
