General Information

I am from Costa Rica and I moved to USA in 2007 and I have 3 years of experience in GIS with one of the biggest utility companies in the State of Colorado, Xcel Energy.

I am a bilingual geographer interested in environmental, social and global issues. I am concerned about natural resources and land management. I want to work with geography, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), mapping, drafting, natural resources, Geographic Positioning Systems (GPS) and land management. Throughout my work experience I have learned to be organized and responsible, efficient to reach goals and deadlines, extremely detail oriented and I have the ability to work in group productively.  I also have advanced skills to use various modern software programs for making digital maps such as SmallWorld, AutoCad, ArcView and GPS.
