Work Experience

October 2009 – April 2010 – Graduate Scheme, St Helens Chamber.
As a part of this scheme I:

·  Completed a six month internship with the Geographical Information Systems (G.I.S) department of St Helens Council.
·  Developed G.I.S software skills when plotting and producing maps for council projects.
·  Improved data quality and maintained records.
·  Provided mapping software through installations, tutorials and by dealing with enquiries.

Summer 2008 – Evening Customer Assistant, Wilkinson’s.
Whilst working at Wilkinson’s my responsibilities included:

·  Restocking and cleaning a section of the store, either individually or in a small team.
·  Order picking goods and updating stock levels via a hand held computer.
·  Informing and assisting customers.

Winter 2007 – Tour Guide, Lancaster University.
This role as a tour guide required me to:

·  Adapt and provide relevant information to prospective students or parents.
·  Utilise leadership and time management skills when conducting tours.
