JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
• The department I’ am involved is called TRACS TYPE SURVEY.
• The nature of work here is highway assessment management. I am involved in Routing and quality of the work carried out initially till the project gets delivered to the client. The Routing involves working with Map Info and Microsoft Auto Route. Also done network digitization in MapInfo.
• The other responsibilities involve getting feedback from the client regarding the work carried out and implementing new techniques to achieve better result, Routing is a process of setting (assigning) the order for the sections that is to be surveyed by the ARAN survey vehicle.
• Routing also gives the information to the ARAN processor to survey the given network in less possible time and with minimum travel of the vehicle.

We have completely 52 projects of around 24,000 kms in 2007-08 year. Below are some information on some projects.

2. PROJECT NAME : PARCEL MAPPING
SOFTWARE USED : AutoCAD 2004
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
I am involved in the projects in the company like the PARCEL MAPPING using the AutoCAD 2004 Software, in this project we draw the parcels given by the client’s, the client’s used to give the centerline of the particular city that had to be drawn using the AutoCAD software. Finally we import the AutoCAD image drawn to the ARCGIS Software and merge them to a single image and deliver it to the client’s. And also we do the drawings given by the client’s of the cities Zebra Crossings and Roundabouts (UK), the client’s sends us the PDF format of the particular ZC or RA with which we draw using the AutoCAD software.
