GreenStack, Inc., a mobile application company that makes saving money fun and easy, today unveiled greenstack – a free, location-based savings app for the iPhone that unlocks the next generation of discount redemption: deal stacking.

The app’s initial focus is on dining in the San Francisco region but will soon expand nationally, and provide shopping and entertainment savings opportunties as well.

Marketplace First - ‘Stacking’ GreenStack’s patent-pending technology brings ‘stacking’ to the deals marketplace – so that a variety of coupons, sales, and loyalty or membership benefits can now be instantly combined and redeemed on-the-spot. The app’s ‘Staculator’ feature frees consumers from the drudgery and chaos of tracking various offers and benefits on their own, while elegantly displaying multiple ways to save.

This would be another indication the whole deals thing has gone too far.

Instead of utilizing tracking features inside iOS and Android apps, Swarm uses in-store Wi-Fi services to offer customers coupons, spot (and offer discounts to) customers who pricecheck items on Amazon, and to track Internet activity and in-store movements.
